A charming antique Edwardian tub chair in a mellow mahogany with inlay to the back and extensive stringing to the legs, arms and front seat rail. The back comprises 3 splats each with central inlay design. It has shaped supports to the arms and stands on slim square tapered legs. It has been newly re-covered in a cream self-coloured embroidered brocade fabric. Stamped with makers mark W.G. to the back leg.

Scratches and marks commensurate with age. Some wear and scuffs to the fronts of the arms. Some slight give to front legs, but fairly strong and not wobbly. Newly recovered over existing upholstery which is sound.
