A handsome antique Edwardian open armchair dating from circa 1905. In a dark ebonised finish it has a carved and pierced back splat and carved top rail. With curved arms and serpentine fronted seat it stands on turned and reeded legs. Good colour and patina. A beautiful statement piece that would make a handsome desk chair or bedroom chair.
Construction/Wood:
Ebonised wood (either mahogany or walnut)
Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy with wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered over existing upholstery which is in fair condition (springs). Some slight give to arms (but not loose).
