Antique Edwardian Carved Mahogany Armchair
This antique Edwardian mahogany armchair dating from the 1890-1910 period is very high quality & has wonderful shaping all over. It has very generous proportions & is carved all over. There is a carved floral panel on the top with capitals below & the swept out shaped arms are well carved too. Even the arm supports are carved & shaped. There is also reeding & carvings on the sides of the back, around the seat & down the tapered spade end legs. There are so many fine features that I can’t describe, so please enlarge all the images. This chair has just been polished & re-upholstered in our regular cream cotton linen fabric.
