This is an antique decorative dog letter rack. An English, mahogany and oak wall hanging post tidy, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Decorated rack with a fascinating study of a hound as a pup and adult
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Mahogany and oak stocks show fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
Detailed carved dog relief to each letter slide shows fine craftsmanship
