A very handsome and regal looking cold painted bronze inkwell in the form of a dog's head, sporting his two original glass eyes. The lid opens to reveal a removable glass ink liner for easy refilling and cleaning.

Late Victorian in era, dating to c.1890 / 1900. Excellent condition measuring 4 1/4" extending to 6" to the end of the dog's nose x 4 3/4" tall.
