East caucasus,second half 19th century. Rare yellow ground with lots of zoomorphic animals,tree of life,combs,coffee pots and geometric motifs. Oh did I mention it''s only 72cm wide,an antique runner which will actually fit! Been hand washed and de-dusted. Being as old as it is there is all over low pile and a few old professional reweaves. Professional rebound side cords and expertly stitched minute blanket stitches to the even fringes. All imaged. Size is 7 foot 10 inches by 2 foot 4 inches. 240cm X 72cm. At widest points. Fringes not measured in size. All woollen fine construction. Priced very very reasonably indeed. Bank transfers,viewings,discussions,etc all welcomed.
