Antique Beech Lyre-Back Side Chair c.1900
A small-scale beech side chair in the lyre-back form with shaped uprights flanking vertical rods with turned finials to the crest rail. Below, a shaped seat is beautifully upholstered with floral needlework and studded edging, all raised on splayed legs united by a H stretcher.
Suited to occasional seating, its modest proportions make it particularly suitable as a hall perch or for decorative placement within a room.
Very good antique condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
