This is a very pretty floral Bakhtiari carpet which dates from around the early 19th century from. The strawberry lattice field of stylised plants is centred by a floral ivory medallion and framed by indigo spandrels and floral borders. The carpet is in excellent order. It is a good useful size measuring 213 cms by 129 cms.
