first quarter of the 20th century. A beautiful vibrantly colourful bakhtiari rug (counted 10 colours) benefiting from a full pile with original selvedges & fringes. The yellow is particularly appealing a colour particularly favoured and used by kurdish village weaving. Professionally cleaned & dusted last images. Even pile throughout with original side cords and tasselled fringes. 7 foot 4 inches by 5 foot 3 inches. 224cm X 160cm. At widest points. Tassel fringes not measured in size.
