A very nice, antique, 14CT solid gold thimble dating from c1888.
It is stamped on the inside with "14K" for 14 carat solid gold. As far as I understand it was likely produced by Simon Brothers, USA.
The decorative border with panels engraved with the former owner's initials "A.F.P", the date "1888" and the size "9".
