This is a beautiful hand woven woollen Balouche prayer rug from West Afghanistan. The rug has an indigo field of angular vines and plants beneath a central Mihrab, all enclosed by chocolate brown borders.
The carpet measures 130cms by 92cms and is in excellent condition.
