A wonderful antique 19th century Venetian oil painting. This was painted in Italy, and like dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is beautifully executed, with a lovely scene depicting Venice surrounded by water and boats. It is mounted in a gorgeous antique gilt wood frame that look original.

The condition is excellent for its age, with just the right amount of patina, and no major damage to be seen.
