This lovely vintage bear was made by Merrythought, and retains his maker's label sewn into his left foot. He has mohair fur with fabric pads. He has glass eyes, a black stitched nose and mouth, and a shaven muzzle. He has black claw stitching to his feet and hands, which is webbed to his hands. He is fully jointed. He is soft stuffed with a hard stuffed nose. He has the remains of what we believe to be a squeaker inside, but please note that this is no longer operative. We believe him to date from the 1940s.

Condition Overall in fair-good condition, with some playwear consistent with age and use. His mohair fur is mostly still quite fluffy, but he has large bald patches to his right arm and left leg, and some patches where he mohair is thinning. There are some signs of repair - to the top of his left leg, to the top of his right arm, and to his left ear. His left ear is partially loose and requires repair, and the holes at the top of his leg and arm would also benefit from some attention. His right eye is scratched. The bear is overall faded and a little grubby, and there are initials writted on his right foot pad.
