This lovely bisque-head doll dates from c.1910. She has 'A.M. Germany 351' moulded into the back of her head. She has a bisque head with glass sleeping eyes, and an open mouth with two teeth. She has a home-made cloth body with damaged composition hands. She is wearing a modern white dress, underslip and knitted booties.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age. She has some grubbiness and scuffing to the paintwork of her head and would benefit from a careful clean. There is some paint loss to her eyelids. Her cloth body is basic and is discoloured, worn and holed - it would benefit from replacement. It has some signs of restitching and repair. Her composition hands are badly damaged and chipped with significant loss. Her clothing is in good condition with some wear, grubbiness and discolouration.
