You can't go wrong with a beautiful antique long chain like this Edwardian 15ct gold longuard chain necklace.

The lush, rich 15ct gold is warm and and inviting with a hue that is highly sought after and 15ct gold pieces are always in high demand simply due to the rarity of the now discontinued carat.

It has elegant rope twist links with a 15ct gold dog clip fastener.

These chains are such a versatile and wearable piece of jewellery, as much now as they were then, perfect for layering up with other chains or wearing with your favourite pendants or lockets.

Can be worn long or tripled over.

Marks and era:
The chain has a tag marked 15ct and the dog clip is also marked 15c, Edwardian era, c1900s.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some minor surface wear commensurate with age, some links have signs of repair and soft solder, some links discoloured possibly from some previous testing.
