A very nice Saxon bronze chip carved mount with a good amount of the original guilding remaining.Possibly a sword harness decoration? The Chip Carved decoration is a interlaced Zoomorphic design with the creatures legs and claws still visible, a scarce and desirable piece. 2 cm in diameter.
