Ancient Egyptian Faience Shabti fating to the 4th-1st century BC. Shabti are small figurines ,usually in the shape of a mummy and were funerary figures in ancient Egypt used to accompany the deceased to the after life. The statue is well modelled and despite its great age there is still good detail to the features.
