An Attractive Antique 19th Century Walnut Leather
An unusual and well drawn 19th Century leather armchair on walnut turned legs.
This very good quality armchair having a rare rounded headrest has been upholstered in a fine quality hyde which has been hand dyed and coloured to a lovely warm tan colour, with decorative brass nailed studwork.
Having a feather cushion seat makes this chair extremely comfortable to sit in.
The shape is very pleasing to the eye with the chair being raised on good quality walnut turned front legs with splay back legs, still retaining their original brass and porcelain castors.
Offered in excellent condition this antique chair dating to circa 1870 is a splendid design that will compliment any setting.
