A piece of natural Amethyst Crystal set into Gold Base. The Gold has been allowed to flow naturally into the Crystal to act as the Setting.I believe (tested) it is a high carat,at least 18ct. Cannot determine Date but from Provenance it it at least 50 yrs old. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
