Alix Jennings Ex.1927-1950s Oil/Canvas Geraniums
We are offering for sale this lovely still life oil on canvas by the artist Alix Jennings, who has signed the painting to the lower right. The painting depicts a bowl of pink, red and white geraniums in a blue ceramic bowl, with a brass band. The artist's use of impasto, gives the flowers depth and dimension and the composition is very well balanced. This painting epitomises the current season of the year.
