Albert H.Collings RBA Oil Portrait of WWI Officer
We are offering this wonderful portrait oil on canvas by the celebrated portraitist Albert Henry Collings, who has signed the painting in the lower left hand corner. The painting depicts a young WWI Officer in the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry, judging by his cap badge. This soldier was named as Edgar Vivian Edwards by the vendor, but we have been unable to substantiate this.
