A stunning original oil painting, 'After Jack Vettriano' of his famous painting 'The Master of Ceremonies', hand painted by an artist known as 'Rose'. It is beautifully painted, to a high standard and is a very faithful evocation of Jack Vettriano's original work. We have included a photograph of Jack Vettriano's original 'The Master of Ceremonies' oil painting from the first book of his work 'Fallen Angels' edited by W. Gordon Smith - and the accuracy of the likeness with this painting is striking. Jack Vettriano OBE Hon LLD, is an internationally famous 'super star' artist who has taken the world by storm with his neo - realist paintings of people in heightened cinematic, dramatic, erotically charged and romantic scenes - reminiscent of the Hollywood Dream Factory. Jack Vettriano, a Scotsman of Italian descent, is entirely self-taught. He began his career as a mining engineer in the Fife coalfields. In excellent condition and painted on a high quality stretched canvas with a hanging wire. There are some small areas of black paint on the rear of the canvas. There are some very small areas of exposed canvas on the corners and edges of the painting where the artist has not applied paint.
