Adjustable Armchair With Slatted Sides

Adjustable armchair in golden oak with slatted sides very much in the American mission style but this is British . 3 position adjustment for the back which like the seat is sprung and has been recovered in stone linen . Constructed with through tenons and doweled joints . Made by Glenister of High Wycombe, examples were used on the House of Commons terrace and Battle of Britain mess rooms.( Attribution courtesy of Antique Trader )
