A tortoise shell veneered mirror with parcel gilt and original beveled glass attributed to Belgian firm, Maison Frank. 1190mm high, 500mm wide and 25mm deep. Circa 1930's

Maison Franck was a Belgium company specialized in antique furniture design and decoration, known for creating exclusive antique furniture, mostly on special request for their select group of clients. With their Chinese connections they were able to import luxury materials such as the tortoise shell to decorate their furniture with. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries. Now under the stewardship of Mark and his wife, Louise, we take pride in maintaining the high standards which William set more than 50 years ago.
