A Superb Large French Shabby Gilt Console Mirror

This is a superbly ornate tall Mirror it has an Bright but somewhat Shabby Gilt Frame, it is made of carved wood and Gesso with an attractive Crest at the top
There are some small chips as you would expect in one or two places on the frame there are patches where the original red oxide is showing through the gold slightly, which all adds to the authentic and delightfully Shabby look
The mirror frame dates from the mid 19th century, the glass is original and has a small band of little foxing
An original and genuinely Shabby Chic, French aged Gilt Console or Pier mirror
The Mirror is 60” high and it is 34” wide
