An unusually small 17th century court cupboard, probably from the workshops of Yorkshire.
The cupboard is of typical two part construction with the top slotting into the base.
The front and sides decorated with an abundance of carvings throughout, the top section consisting of a single small cupboard ,and the bottom section, a larger cupboard with a shelved interior.
There is evidence of old wood worm in a few areas and some later restorations commensurate with age.
The cupboard has superb colour and patination and is in excellent condition.
