A Rustic 19th century Food Hutch
A rustic 17th century style food hutch constructed from oak, this piece would stand on top of a sideboard or dresser base and would have fabric behind the spindles to protect fresh food from insects. The hutch has a large single door with a catch and turned knob and inside is a single integral shelf.
This is an excellent piece of country antique furniture and has had some old woodworm but is no longer active, the overall condition is excellent.
