This very comfortable simulated rosewood arm chair stands on original brass castors, with turned and reeded legs and carved patera. The scroll arms have leather pads and the whole chair is upholstered in olive green, brass nailed and buttoned leather. In very good condition and retaining its original simulated decoration. 1030mm high, 660mm wide, 990mm deep and 450mm seat height. Circa 1830 W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries. Now under the stewardship of Mark and his wife, Louise, we take pride in maintaining the high standards which William set more than 50 years ago.
