A Regency painted open armchair.
A Regency painted open arm or desk chair, the structure with traces of original paint, pierced back rail, sabre arms and newly upholstered in a beautiful duck egg embroidered fabric ,overstuffed seat. Provenance: Receipt from Francis Collin Ltd, 277 Fulham Road, SW10 for £45, dated October 26th, 1965.

More Information
The chair has general wear, the facing right hand arm has been repaired where it joins the back leg. The left hand arm has an old repair, where it joins the rear leg. The back rail also has an old repair. The original paint has worn off the end of the arms.

The joints of the chair are firm and solid, ready to use, a real survivor.
