A Primitive Painted Carved Bust of an Adonis

This is a hand carved wooden piece, it has been over painted, giving the skin a translucence, our Adonis has blue eyes and golden hair
The Bust is sound with a little cracking of the painted finish, it is 21” tall, 19” wide and about 8” deep
