A pair of litho prints by John Hall Thorpe. These are not the usual woodcut prints. The origin of this pair is uncertain but they were probably given as a promotional event in 1929. A similar pair of prints were included in the November 1929 issue of "My Home" magazine. While the quality of the print is not that of his woodcuts they are very much rarer today. These prints are in their original 1920s frame in "as found condition (some paint is slightly worn). One print is mainly Marigolds & Wallflowers the othe is mainly Pansies & Nasturtiums entitled "Pick of the garden". The prints may be slightly faded but as I have never seen them before I have nothing to compare them with.
