A very unusual pair or near pair of French 'Almost Gothic Style' Hall chairs - Made in solid Walnut during the mid - late C19th all with very fine carvingsd and turnings - The heraldic shields have some slight differences on each chair. Purchased in Chartres France - But unsure of country of forigin. A very eye catching and unusual pair of chairs in very good condition.

Dimensions 51`` high x 20`` wide x 17`` deep and the seat height is just under 20`` high so ideal for dining height if you wanted.....they`d make a great pair of chairs instead of carver chairs!
