A fine pair of carved mahogany Chippendale style Gainsborough chairs. Raised on cabriole legs with carved knees, scroll toes and leather and brass castors. The shaped arms are carved with acanthus leaves and these elegant chairs have been beautifully upholstered in conker brown hand dyed leather with brass nailing. In very good condition. 1030mm high, 700mm wide, 740mm deep and 410mm seat height. Circa 1890.
