A pair of 19th Century Rountree’s Sweet Gums Jars with Carton

This rare pair of jars came from the store room of an Old Fashioned Sweet Shop, they are tall heavy glass and have metal embossed lids. The lids are decorated with stylised entwined leaves, in the arts and crafts style and the words Rountree’s Gums around the edge

The glass jars are sound and the lids have have old red paint, the jars come with a Rowntree’s wooden box, this is not in very good condition but it would be nice to keep them all together
The jars are 12” tall and 4” in diameter
