A Pair Of 18thc Silk Work Pictures.
A lovely pair of 18th century silk work pictures depicting classical / biblical scenes.
The silk panels have incredibly fine work and are a testament to the artisans of the 18th century.
The silks has some rips and splits to them, which is to be expected with silk of this age.
The pictures are set in gilt gesso frames which have some losses but overall the framed panels are in reasonable country house condition.
Height is 67cm (26.4inches)
Width is 50.5cm (19.9inches)
Depth is 3cm (1.2inches)
