A Pair Fine Quality French Gilt Salon Chairs 1880
A Pair Fine Quality French Gilt Salon Chairs Circa 1880
Old world faded elegance a pair of French Salon Chairs in the Louis XVI style, the chairs are in original gilt and powder blue finish they come in their original oatmeal coloured silk upholstery
There is a little wear to the silk fabric giving it a genuine slightly faded shabby look, but there are no holes or tears
The carved Gesso and Gilt Wooden Frames are in good condition, the legs are fluted and turned, the original Gilt work shows only minor signs of wear which is consistent with age.
The Chairs are 37” high, 20” wide and deep, the seats are 18” from the floor
