An oak late 19th century reclining arm chair, upholstered in hand dyed and buttoned leather. The chair reclines by means of a mechanism concealed within the arms and operated via the wooden knobs on the front of the arms, raised on turned front legs with brass castors. In very good condition and extremely comfortable. 970mm high, 690mm wide and 910mm deep. Circa 1890. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
