A fine pair of French fauteuil arm chair gilt %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
In excellent condition, this pair of arm chairs are in walnut with foliate carving to the legs, arms and backs. They have broad seats and are very comfortable and have recently been reupholstered with a double piped edge. 940mm high, 620mm wide, 620mm deep and 400mm seat height. Circa 1870. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
