Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this lovely French solid chestnut cupboard is in very good condition and would originate from the Morbihan region of Brittany.
To the inside of the cupboard there are 2 shelves which are fully adjustable up and down. This is enclosed with a fine carved and fretted panel door complete with original brass hinges, pierced key escutcheon and working lock..
The cupboard has been given 2 coats of wax to giving a soft sheen to this lovely chestnut wood.
This is a lovely piece of French antique furniture which would compliment the room of any home traditional or modern.
The cupboard measures
32.5 inches wide
17.25 inches deep / 13 inside
45inches high.
