Description
A wonderful painting attributed by well-respected auctioneers Mellors and Kirk to Mary Pitts, ARMS (Associate of the Royal Miniature Society) (exhibited 1893-1929) -a portrait miniature of a Victorian high society lady, in a red dress and fur, wearing flowers in her hair and a pearl necklace. Superb elaborate original brass frame, decorated in a recurring pattern of swans, urns and fountains.
We can, on request, supply photographs of other paintings executed by this highly talented artist.
Condition
In excellent antique condition. No apparent defects.
