A Beech and Elm High Back Windsor Chair

A country made lath back windsor chair made from beech with an elm seat. The chair has lovely shaped back laths with a broad top rail. The top rail is very unusual having the scollops between the laths. The arms are supported by turned spindles and the legs are united by an “H” underframe. Circa 1880
