A 16th Century Gothic Throne Chair. 16th century renaissance oak %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A 16th century gothic carved throne chair , having a carved panelled tracery back with linenfold panels bottom and sides. The top of the back having a later replaced carved gallery flanked by the original finials , and the box seat lid slides of to reveal a storage space.
The chair has had some worm damage and later restorations commensurate with age, however its in excellent condition and is very robust, with a fantastic patina.
