3x 1920s Cased Eton College Tug of War Medals
These three vintage Eton College medals are all retained within their original lined cases with shield plaques affixed to the inside of the top of the box listing the members of the team and their weights. All are engraved for the same person, J.D. Little. Present are two bronze-coloured medals and one silver-coloured medal. The silver-coloured medal is dated 1926 but the others are not dated. There are no hallmarks or maker's marks.
Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age. The cases have some scuffing, wear and marking, and some of the ribbons designed to lift the medals out of the boxes have frayed. There is some tarnishing and grubbiness to the metal medals and plaques as might be expected and some corrosion to the metal fixings of the box.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Medals - 4cm diameter. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
