A GOOD SCOTTISH SILVER MEDAL, ARBROATH & DISTRICT MUSICAL FESTIVAL c1928,
A very good quality Arbroath & District Musical Festival silver medal dating from 1928.
This medal was awarded to Katherine McLachlan. It is engraved as follows:
"1928 Piano Solo, Senior 1st, Katherine McLachlan".
The sterling silver medal has full English hallmarks the makers mark "V&S" for Vaughton & Sons, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "C" for 1927/28.
It measures 46mm in diameter and is complete with the original presentation case from J & RB Eddie, Jeweller, High St., Arbroath (the case showing some wear).
