After hanging in a local North Wales public house for many years, refurbishment means this large early 20thc. original oil on board is now in need of a new home. Depicting John Bold of Bold & Burtonwood crossing the Conwy estuary in 1403-1404. Clearly showing Conwy castle in the background with period ship under sale to the foreground. Signed C.W.Beretta, Decorator from Rhosneigr, Angelsey. Excellent original condition, presented unframed.
