19thc painting by Albert Bredow (1828-1899)signed bottom right. A winter scene depicting monks hiding valuables before a cathedral. In beautiful carved and gilded frame of which the inner border is decorated with large fruits and acanthus leaves to each corner which in turn is bordered by scrolls and tiny fruit.
In great condition.
