A really beautiful French Victorian Tortoiseshell,Gold Pique Work and Abalone Purse,it has a Shield Cartouche on Front with finely engraved Monogramme.Ormolu surround and the clasp clicks shut very crisply.It opens to reveal Blue Silk four compartment interior, one of which has a locking clip impressed'Brevete SGDC'Dimensions:-7cms x 4.5cms x 1.5cms. and circa 1860.
Something for the Collector! I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
