A 19th century concertina silver plated seven-bar toast rack. The first symbol of the maker's mark is rubbed but 'B & Co' remains clearly visible. Possibly AB & Co for A. J. Beardshaw & Co, Sheffield (active 1863-1866).

This toast rack solves the eternal problem for thick toast lovers and will accommodate the thicker slice!

There is a slight warp to one bar at the end (please see photographs), but otherwise the toast rack is in very good condition, stable with a smooth action.
