Lovely mid 19th.c. ash and elm kitchen armchair c.1860. Broad top rail over a shaped back stretcher with bobbin turned detail, shaped arms on turned and splayed spindles and a single piece elm seat. On turned legs and stretchers. Particularly good colour, retaining much of the original dark finish worn through to reveal the warm colour and grain of the wood below. Excellent condition, original through, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
