A top quality Victorian Mourning Pendant of Oval Shape with central Banded Black Agate surrounded by multiple Seed Pearls and framed in Black Enamel on Gold Twist, the Loop is also Enamelled on Gold.The back is set with a Lock of Hair and is surrounded by scalloped Black Enamel and the Gold Frame is delicately engraved, also framed with Gold Twist.The Gold Tests higher than 9ct so suspect it is at least 15ct. It comes with it's original silk lined fitted Box, by Jewellers W.& E Mimpress,Berkeley Square.c.1870 I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
